Sun's CEO gives an interview to Scoble. Talks about a lot of things. Wordpress Founder watches it and blogs about his experience with Sun, not so good. I think it's like the difference between your requirements analysis documents and your end product. You should be able to deliver what you promise, or you should be able to chew what you wanna bite. And to some extent, I agree with this perception thing with Sun. ~mks

I have always had a great respect for the Solaris OS. And I hope this move of Sun and Intel pays well for both of them. ~mks

I took a lot of sunset and sunrise photographs during the Mysore trip. We started from Bangalore at around 4pm so I tried my hand on sun set on the way. Here you go - All of those were taken from the cab running at 110kmph. :-) ~mks

This valleywag entry intrigued me to do a Google blog search on Sun Microsystems sale . The search took me to this somewhat old discussion on "Is Sun priming itself for sale?" . The discussion is good but there is one point in it which made me post this blog - The buyer could be one of the new players: some undefinably large and yet unknown company from China or India. Among others (IBM, Oracle, Google, Microsoft, Apple), one of the readers is expecting a company from India or China, yet "unknown" to outside world take over Sun Microsystems. Interesting! People have these views about India. China I understand, it could be Lenovo but which is this "undefinably" large and yet "unknown" company in India. ~Mks
